Communication is a complex process involving a number of systems that work in concert. Communication is an integral part of all living things. The need for communication is as basic as the need for food and water, perhaps even more so.
The word "communication" means "to impart, share," literally "to make common." Our goal this semester is to unpack the varying dimensions of communication-to create a common ground of understanding and connectedness.
